From Chicago, Amanda's extensive theatrical background allows her to understand the complex craft of acting. After moving to Los Angeles years ago, she realized the importance of networking in show business- "business" being the bigger word.
Networking has been a significant tool in Amanda's acting career. The casting directors and actors she has met through Act Now have positively impacted her work.
Amanda received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Azusa Pacific University. She has also studied at the New York Drama Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts and at the Groundlings school of improvisation.
Her comedic timing has made her a great success in stand-up comedy, improvisation troupes, sitcom pilots... and puppetry. Aside from acting, Amanda has been enjoying her time co-hosting the morning show "Wake Up with Matt and Amanda," and expanding her conversational skills in American Sign Language in order to certify as a sign language interpreter.
Things Amanda enjoys outside of acting include: piano, guitar, walking barefoot on the grass, going to the shooting range, booming thunderstorms, whitewater-rafting, eating good food and breeding wombats.
